Meaning of the piece
Title: The Heartbeat of the Hikuri
At the heart of this work, the hikuri (peyote) beats, guardian of knowledge and portal to the sacred. From its center emanates an energy that orders every element of the represented universe, as if the painting breathes tradition and ancestral wisdom.
Around it, two shamanic healers maintain spiritual balance through silent rituals, connecting the visible with the invisible. Blue deer—messengers of the spirit—roam the scene as guides between worlds, carrying the essence of life and the memory of the Wixárika people.
Jícaras with offerings rest as acts of gratitude and respect, reminding us that everything in this universe has a purpose and a sacred origin. Every thread, every color, not only builds an image: it tells a living, powerful, and deeply spiritual story.
Craftsmanship made into special art for collectors of Mexican art.
